Wonder Woman #8

Lately I’ve been reading the New 52 titles as we get the collected editions in at the library. Anyone who’s followed this blog for a while will know that I’m really a Marvel comics reader. Although I’ve read (and enjoyed) quite a few DC trades (particularly The Search for Kryptonite, Who Is Wonder Woman? and The Long Halloween) I’ve never picked up a title month-to-month and there have never really been any events that I’ve massively enjoyed (or been able to crack really, I feel a lack of knowledge of continuity has left me baffled).

THAT BEING SAID: Blood and The Court of Owls (V1 of Wonder Woman and Batman) were both spectacular stories, two of my favourite of late (from either publisher). Certainly titles I’m going to continue to read!

Wonder Woman has always seemed more interesting to me than either Batman or Superman (or the vast majority of other DC characters, to be fair).

21 in Glasgow, and I haven't the slightest clue what I'm doing.
This is a semi-carefully curated selection of things I love, including the X-Men, pop music, Hawkeye, food, Cougar Town, bearded men, bourbon, drag queens, Archer, animals who think they're people, Happy Endings, Wonder Woman, and anything that can make me smile. All of the views contained in this blog are my own, and do not necessarily reflect those of the BBC.
